Sushea (pronounced su-shay) brings fresh, Australian style sushi and Asian-fusion dishes such as bao buns, gyoaza, and poke bowls, to Newquay.

Our focus is on providing exceptional food and a warm, welcoming service, whether you are dining in with us or grabbing a takeaway to enjoy at home.

Our menu is designed to be inclusive. Whether you are a seafood lover, meat eater, vegetarian, or vegan, you’ll find something fresh and exciting here. We also take gluten-free and dairy-free requirements seriously, ensuring nobody misses out on the flavours of the coast.

So happy this year to see a sushi place had opened and we were not disappointed. The staff were incredibly informative and the food was one of the best meals I have ever had. The flavours were unreal. We had sushi,pancakes,baou bun and the dumplings and will definitely be back before we go home

Absolutely love this place Discovered it on our last day Eaten at many places but wish we had have found this place sooner 10/10 Great staff who are polite and welcoming But the food was exceptional

Took a little walk down here after passing by the inconspicuous restaurant the previous day. Very excited to get maki rolls, but they had almost completely sold out - get there early if you want them! Ordered vegan gyozas and a poke bowl - both were absolutely lush and I finished them with a big smile.

The food was amazing! We had a mixture of items as they’d run out of sushi for the day. We did turn up 40 minutes before they closed so shame on us. But the gyozas were amazing. I’d even go as far to say they are the best I’ve ever had. The only thing that would have made it better was a beer but the beers are on order with them being so new. So if you like Asian food, you should give it a go when you’re next in Newquay.

We had a terrific lunch outside in the sunshine. The food was high quality and delicious. Really nice to get some veggies and fresh sushi after a week of fish and chips. Great staff, very friendly, highly recommended.

About time Newquay had a Sushi Bar. The food is outstanding and the staff are so friendly. I would highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed.
